  1. Connect the equipment: connect the water leakage detector host, headphones and sensors.

  2. Locate the sensor: Place the sensor on the pavement above the pipeline and place it step by step according to the length of the pace.

  3. Detect the signal: turn on the switch, wear headphones, and conduct multiple soundings at different points to compare the strength of the signal to determine the location of the leak.

  Cautions

  -Multi-point comparison: Repeatedly compare at different points to find out the place with larger sound vibration as the leakage point.

  -Consider additional factors: Consider the influence of the direction of the broken opening of the leakage point, the position of the pipe, tees, bends, water pressure, burial depth, buried layer and other factors on the detection results.

  1. Preparation before pressurization: close the valve switch of meter gate, water heater, wall-hung boiler, solar energy, water purifier, etc. before pressurization.

  2. Pressure range selection: old neighborhoods in the pressurization should choose a lower pressure range to avoid damage to water pipes.

  3. Multiple sets of pressurized meter kits: Prepare multiple sets of pressurized meter kits to press cold, hot water and floor heating pipes at the same time to improve efficiency.

  4. Mixed water and gas pressurization: Note that the sound of water bubbling is the best signal to detect.

  5. Leakage sound characteristics: continuity, stability, content richness is the characteristics of the leakage sound, according to these characteristics to analyze and judge.
